Fall and Winter Skin Care Tips

Fall is around the corner and it's time to start thinking about your fall and winter skin care routine.  Hydration is always important, but our skin can feel dryer in the cooler months.

Hydration: Reach for ingredients that include Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin and Ceramides. These help prevent moisture loss and irritation in our skin. 

Protection: These include Vitamin C, Niacinamide and Sunscreen. Vitamin C is a great antioxidant that helps protect the skin from environmental damage. Niacinamide helps strengthen the skin's barrier and reduce redness. Sunscreen helps protect your skin from UVA and UVB, rain or shine! My personal favorite is Clear Choice Sport Shield, broadband SPF 45. 

Additional tips: Exfoliate gently once a week, use Retinol 1-2 times a week, use a heavier/thicker cream at night and drink plenty of water!
