Dermaplane

  • What it is: A gentle exfoliation procedure that uses a sterile scalpel to remove the top layer of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz).  
     

  • Benefits: Smoother skin texture, brighter complexion, better product absorption, and makeup goes on flawlessly.
     

  • Downtime: None. You might have slight redness for an hour or two.
     

  • Best for: Most skin types, especially those with rough texture, dullness, or unwanted facial hair.

Microdermabrasion

  • What it is: A minimally invasive procedure that uses a special tool to either spray tiny crystals onto the skin or has a diamond-tipped wand to exfoliate the skin's surface.  I use a diamond-tipped wand.
     

  • Benefits: Improves skin tone, reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, and sun damage.
     

  • Downtime: Minimal. You might experience some redness or sensitivity for a short period.
     

  • Best for: Those with mild to moderate skin concerns like fine lines, dullness, hyperpigmentation, and uneven texture.

Microneedling

  • What it is: A treatment that uses a device with tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production.
     

  • Benefits: Reduces the appearance of scars, wrinkles, and stretch marks. It also improves skin texture, tone, and firmness. 
     

  • Downtime: Can vary depending on the depth of the treatment. Expect some redness and possibly minor swelling for a few days.
     

  • Best for: People with acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin texture.

Jet Plasma

  • What it is: A non-surgical skin tightening treatment that uses a handheld device to deliver focused plasma energy to the skin's surface.
     

  • Benefits: Stimulates collagen production, improves skin elasticity, reduces wrinkles, and tightens pores.
     

  • Downtime: None. You might have some slight redness that subsides quickly.
     

  • Best for: Those looking for a non-invasive way to improve skin laxity and reduce the signs of aging.

  • What it is: A treatment where a chemical solution is applied to the skin to exfoliate the outer layers, revealing smoother, brighter skin underneath
